What a lovely surprise to get in my postbox!
A couple of months ago I joined the Package Project and got paired with the wonderful Micaela from Texas. The idea was to send a parcel with around five items, such as handmade objects, craft supplies or anything pretty, to your package partner.On Saturday I received my parcel. It's like Micaela's known me for years! I couldn't have picked out prettier items for myself if I tried.
A heart fridge magnet, postcard and porcelain deer. The deer has already found a home on my favourite shelf, the one with my porcelain birds, frankie magazines and Barbara Cartlands.
A hand-written card, green coin purse and vintage buttons that belonged to Micaela's mom. It's tremendously special to receive something with a touch of family history!
Absolutely wonderful - a vintage paper doll from etsy. The doll can stand and the dresses - how beautiful are they? - are attached with a magnet. I wish I had a stripey dress like the one on the box - exactly what I need for my vintage tea party.Thanks for making my day, Micaela!
